Elim Community Church, Carlisle, is a Data Controller, gathering and storing personal contact and family information of those associated and attending the Church and associated ministries.   • We collect information about you when you enquire about using any of our services, or are involved in one of our areas of ministry, as part of us providing you with information regarding future events. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
  • We keep this information for as long as the individual is actively attending our meetings or involved with one of our ministries. For those who cease to have an active involvement, their contact details will normally be removed after 2 years, but involvements will be reviewed on an annual basis. Where there is a legitimate reason we hold the information for a longer period (e.g. for Gift Aid and Income Tax purposes).
  • Information will be used to maintain our address and contacts details for use by Church staff and Leaders, as needed. We will not share your information with those outside the Church without your explicit permission. However emails and telephone numbers may be communicated to other people involved in the same ministry areas within the Church.
  • If you wish to have access to the information we hold about you please contact us and this will be made available. You also have the right to request us to amend or remove information we hold. If you have previously given us consent to hold your data this can be removed at any time.
